Most of us have negative voices in our heads. In fact, researchers now believe that about 75% of most people’s self-talk is negative. That means that three quarters of all your internal chatter is defeatist, negative, and emotionally corrosive.

Unfortunately, most of our negative self-talk is subliminal. It is so ingrained in us that we hardly notice it any more. When we fail to notice it and challenge it, we begin to believe it.

But there are ways to silence negative self-talk.  In recent years many doctors, therapists, and life coaches are becoming aware of the power of hypnotherapy.

Now, this is not your grandma’s hypnosis. It isn’t some person talking softly while waving a sparkly watch in front of your face. That is the kind of hypnosis that Vegas magicians use to make people cluck like chickens. Instead this is a legitimate therapeutic practice and its benefits are numerous:

  • Effective treatment for phobias, post-traumatic stress, and grief
  • Break habits and addictions
  • All natural stress relief and relaxation
  • Non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical
  • Strengthen, reinforce, and create positive mental pathways
  • Treats mental and emotional problems at their source: the subconscious mind

Hypnosis is an effective way to counter-act negative self-talk because it will enable you to confront your negative self-talk at its very roots and create new ways of thinking and perceiving.
